Who OMAS is for

Who is OMAS for? Maybe you.

People come to OMAS for all sorts of reasons: to meet new people, get out more, enjoy activities, build confidence or simply have somewhere friendly to go. You don't need to fit a particular box. We start by getting to know you.

You're not your age, your diagnosis or your disability. You're you, and that's who we want to get to know.

Why people come to OMAS

Everyone wants something different from their day.

Friendship & Company

Meet people, have a proper natter and make friends who are glad to see you.

Something to Look Forward To

A friendly place to go and people you look forward to seeing.

Activities & Interests

Enjoy familiar hobbies, discover new interests and have fun.

Confidence & Independence

Getting Out & About

Enjoy local outings, shopping, walks, events and community life.

A Good Day

It doesn't always need to be about achieving something. Having a lovely day, sharing a laugh and enjoying good company matters too.

Older adults

More company. More to enjoy. More to look forward to.

A welcoming place to spend the day, meet people and enjoy good company.

Maybe it's a chat over a cup of tea, a sing-along, cooking or getting out and about. Maybe it's just being around other people again. Whatever it is, we want you to have something to look forward to.

Be yourself. Make choices. Try new things.

Make friends, enjoy your interests, try new things and grow your confidence.

Some people need a little support, others need more. Either way, we take the time to learn what helps you enjoy your day.

Most importantly, we want people to enjoy coming to OMAS.

What could your day look like?

There's no such thing as a typical OMAS day.

One person cooks all morning and heads out into the community after lunch. Someone else enjoys music, lunch with friends and a quieter afternoon. Another is building everyday skills or trying something completely new. You choose how involved you want to be.
