A kitchen for cooking and life skills
Cook, bake and prepare lunch together, and practise everyday kitchen skills at your own pace.

Our home base, with the kitchen at its heart.

The Main Centre is where OMAS began, and it has a bit of everything. Cooking and baking in the kitchen, arts and crafts, music, gardening and plenty of good company.
It's fully accessible, there's a hot meal every day, and if the day gets a bit much, there's a quiet sensory room to take a breather.
Every OMAS location has the same warm welcome. Here's what OMAS Main Centre does especially well.
Cook, bake and prepare lunch together, and practise everyday kitchen skills at your own pace.

Lunch is cooked fresh each day and shared round the table. One of the best bits of the day.

Somewhere calm to step away to when you need a quieter moment.

Room for arts and crafts, music and games inside, and fresh air outside.

The centre is fully accessible, so everyone can get around and join in.

Every day starts with a cuppa and a chat. Tap a day to see how it goes.
Example week. The OMAS team keeps the real programme up to date.

If your question isn't here, give us a ring. No pressure, just a conversation.
Talk to usAbsolutely, and we'd encourage it. Pop in for a cuppa and a look around, then book a taster day to see what a real day feels like.
However suits you best: family drop-off and collection, travelling independently, or arranged transport. Pick-up and drop-off options are available in some areas, so just ask.
We'll talk you through the daily fee before anyone starts: what's included (meals, refreshments and activities) and anything extra, like arranged transport or special outings. No surprises.
Some people pay privately. Others use Direct Payments, a Personal Budget or Local Authority funding. Not sure which applies to you? Ask us and we'll explain the options.
